Large group trips are where a villa makes the most sense, and where the search gets hardest. Bedroom counts, bathroom counts, who shares with whom, how far everyone is willing to walk to dinner. Each group has its own shape.
Villas with six, eight or more bedrooms exist across Tuscany, Provence, Mallorca, Mykonos and elsewhere, often as estates with a main house and separate cottages. They book early. Telling us early, with a clear picture of your group, is the best way to get the right one.

Bedrooms that feel equal
In large groups, nobody wants the room by the laundry. We look at how many bedrooms are genuine doubles with their own bathrooms, and flag anything like twin-only rooms or bunk rooms.

Main house or estate
Some groups want everyone under one roof. Others prefer an estate with separate cottages, which gives families privacy while keeping everyone together for meals.

Gathering spaces
A dining table for eighteen, a terrace that holds everyone, enough shade and enough loungers. These details decide whether the group actually spends time together.

Getting around
Large groups often need more than one car, or a driver. We consider how far the villa is from towns, restaurants and the airport, and whether parking is realistic.

Staff and help

How many bedrooms can a single villa have?
Most villas have three to six bedrooms. Villas and estates with eight to twelve bedrooms are available in many destinations but are limited. For larger groups, estates with several houses, or neighboring villas, are often the best route.
How far in advance should large groups book?
As early as possible. Large villas are scarce, and for July and August the best ones are often reserved many months ahead. It's worth starting the search as soon as your dates are roughly settled.
