Getting there, groups and local tips

Getting there

  • Mykonos Airport (JMK) has direct international flights in season, as well as connections via Athens.
  • Ferries run from Piraeus and Rafina near Athens, and between the Cycladic islands.
  • A car, a driver or the villa's concierge will help you get around. Taxis are limited in summer.

For groups

  • Mykonos has a good supply of larger villas, often with staff.
  • Hillside locations can mean steep roads and steps.
  • Plan transport early. Group transfers and drivers book up in summer.

Local tips

  • Ask about wind exposure. North-facing terraces can be breezy in July and August.
  • Book restaurants, beach clubs and boats well ahead in high season.
  • Rental cars and drivers are limited in peak season.
  • Consider combining Mykonos with a quieter island like Paros or Tinos.
