What staying on Cap Ferrat is like
It's discreet rather than showy. There's a small port, a handful of restaurants and very little nightlife, which is exactly why people choose it. Nice and Monaco are both close by when you want them.
Mornings might start with a walk on the coastal path that circles the cape, stopping for a swim from the rocks. Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, with its terraced gardens overlooking both sides of the peninsula, is one of the Riviera's great houses to visit.
Afternoons are for the villa, a beach like Paloma or a boat along the coast. Evenings are quiet: dinner at the port, or a short drive to Villefranche, Beaulieu or Monaco.
